Football Recap: Brookville Comes Up Short

If Brookville was feeling good fresh off their 41-20 takedown of Coudersport last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders lost 48-28 to the Port Allegany Gators on Friday. The Raiders were not able to make up for their defeat to the Gators from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Brookville lost, don't look at Sam Krug. Despite the final result, he rushed for 154 yards and a pair of TDs.

Brookville's record is now 2-5. As for Port Allegany, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookville will face off against DuBois at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Allegany, they will square off against Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Port Allegany will be up against Otto-Eldred/Oswayo Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.86 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
