Softball Recap: Lebanon Takes a Loss

Lebanon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beech Buccaneers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Blue Devils have suffered since April 5, 2024.

Reagan Schmitz led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Keeli Davis, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lebanon now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Beech, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Lebanon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-6 victory against Cookeville on the 15th. As for Beech, they have also already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Hendersonville on the 15th.
