Elgin proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 24) but on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Pflugerville Panthers , sneaking past 38-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

Dylan Owens continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, while also throwing for 165 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. Jalen Owens was Dylan's top target, picking up 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 73 yards on only ten carries.
