Soccer Game Preview: Browne vs. Hamilton

The Browne Bruins will face off against the Hamilton Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Browne's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Browne fell victim to Perry and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Pumas, falling 5-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hamilton). Their defense stepped up to hand Eastmark a 7-0 shutout on Friday. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 11th, while the Firebirds are ranked 130th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hamilton is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those ten contests. As for Browne, they now have a losing record at 7-8-1.
