Basketball Recap: Mill River Comes Up Short

Mill River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 68-18 loss at the hands of the Otter Valley Otters. The Minutemen lost against the Otters in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-23 score last time.

Mill River's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Otter Valley, their win bumped their record up to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Mill River will be playing in front of their home fans against Poultney at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Otter Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
