Recap: Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers vs. Travelers Rest Devildogs
The Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers were the 49-48 winner over the Travelers Rest Devildogs when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Blue Ridge fell just short of Travelers Rest by a score of 24-21. Blue Ridge has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Blue Ridge still got an impressive performance from Kb Henderson, who rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. Henderson is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played.
Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Travelers Rest, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will take on Daniel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Daniel is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Travelers Rest, they will head out on the road to face off against Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
