After flying high against Holton on Tuesday, Hesperia came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Manistee Mariners on Thursday. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Manistee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Hesperia will challenge rival Mason County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Manistee is set to take on their familiar foe Montague at 9:00 a.m. on the 25th.
