Football Game Preview: Murray Mustangs vs. Bedford Bulldogs + How To Watch

Murray hasn't had much luck against Bedford recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Murray has given up an average of 54.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Murray came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 64-40 to East Union. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (36), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, after only six points in their last matchup, Bedford made sure to put some points up on the board against Mormon Trail on Friday. The Bulldogs blew past the Saints 63-0. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 36 points or more this season.

Bedford's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 62.4 points this season. As for Murray, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Murray was dealt a bruising 60-0 defeat at the hands of Bedford when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
