Basketball Game Preview: St. Vincent Indians vs. Neelyville Tigers

The St. Vincent Indians will challenge the Neelyville Tigers on Saturday. St. Vincent is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games.

St. Vincent is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They beat St. Paul Lutheran by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 59-28. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Neelyville didn't have too much trouble with Malden on Tuesday as they won 76-58. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Green Wave are ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Neelyville has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points over those games. St. Vincent's win bumped their record up to 21-2.
