Softball Recap: Ridgeline Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Ridgeline won the last time they faced Green Canyon and things went their way on Tuesday too. Ridgeline walked away with a 9-4 win over Green Canyon. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Riverhawks.

Ridgeline's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brielle Gardiner, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Ava Buttars was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Ridgeline pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 9.5 runs this season. As for Green Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridgeline will welcome Davis at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Green Canyon, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sky View at 3:30 p.m.
