Softball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin and Tuscaloosa County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Austin had to settle for second. They lost 10-1 to the Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Black Bears of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 40-19-1. As for Tuscaloosa County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 40-13-1.

As of now, neither Austin nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
