Ocracoke has gone 8-2 against Columbia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Ocracoke will host Columbia at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ocracoke is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against Cape Hatteras on Friday. They lost 11-1 to the Hurricanes.

Meanwhile, Columbia fell victim to Bear Grass Charter and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 17-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Ocracoke, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Ocracoke came out on top in a nail-biter against Columbia in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 10-9. Will Ocracoke repeat their success, or does Columbia has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
