Basketball Recap: Rock Ridge Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Rock Ridge won the last time they faced Park View, and A.K Mo did his part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Rock Ridge Phoenix's way against the Park View Patriots on Saturday as the Rock Ridge Phoenix made off with a 73-48 victory thanks in part to Mo, who went 15 of 18 on his way to 35 points along with eight boards and seven assists. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Rock Ridge's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of D.K Johnson, who went 9 of 13 en route to 21 points. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Rock Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Park View, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Rock Ridge will face off against Briar Woods at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Park View, they will challenge Stone Bridge at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Noah Calalang and Kevin Reyes.
