Seagraves is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Smyer, falling 70-14. Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Plains' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They were dealt a 50-22 loss at the hands of Whiteface. The game marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Seagraves, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.
