Soccer Recap: Franklin County Beats Rushville for Their Fourth Straight Win

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin County). Everything went their way against the Rushville Lions on Monday as they made off with a 9-0 victory. It was an even better day for Anabelle Wiesemann as she scored five goals for her team.

The win keeps Franklin County at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those four games. As for Rushville, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin County will face off against New Castle at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rushville, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
