Baseball Recap: Glenn Bobcats vs. Conway Tigers        
        
		
            
 If Glenn was feeling good  off their  9-1 takedown of Aynor last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Glenn Bobcats fell victim to a  rough 12-2 defeat at the hands of the Conway Tigers  on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Glenn of the  4-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2018.
 Glenn got a good showing from  Tyler Goodin, who   pitched 3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 On the hitting side, Glenn saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Craig McGhee, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Glenn has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record  this season. As for Conway, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glenn is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Reagan at 7:00  p.m. Reagan's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1  runs per game  this season, so Glenn's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Conway, they will head out on the road to  take on  St. James at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. St. James is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.1  runs per game this season.
