Baseball Recap: Eisenhower Takes a Loss

Eisenhower came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Kaiser Cats, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Eisenhower now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Kaiser, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.

Coming up, Eisenhower will challenge Colton at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Yellowjackets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Kaiser, they are taking a road trip to take on Bloomington at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Cats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
