Ben Holt College Prep Academy had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins by a score of 2-0.

David Chavez paced Ben Holt College Prep Academy's offense, picking up six kills. Chavez got some help from Brandon Cortes and his 12 assists. Cortes also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Sam Cha, racking up three apiece.

Ben Holt College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-1. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.
