Baseball Recap: Eldon Comes Up Short

Eldon was the 13-8 winner over Warsaw when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs fell 5-2 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eldon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Devin Hardy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Drew Hinds also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Eldon's record now sits at 12-11. As for Warsaw, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-7.

Coming up, Eldon will square off against Iberia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Warsaw, they will challenge Lone Jack at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
