Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost against Clarendon back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Augusta Red Devils might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Clarendon Lions an easy 79-53 win. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Clarendon, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Augusta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-57 defeat against Bradford on the 17th. As for Clarendon, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against DeWitt at 7:00 p.m. on December 26th.
