Softball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Hyde Park's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sacred Heart, Hyde Park was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Cornerstone Christian Warriors.

The team relied heavily on Cariana Stout, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kylie Yeager, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Hyde Park is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Cornerstone Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
