It was a good run, but Shelbyville Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 8-3 to the Coffee County Central Red Raiders. The Golden Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Raiders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Shelbyville Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Bobo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Palmer Edwards was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Shelbyville Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Coffee County Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

While Shelbyville Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
