Baseball Recap: North Vermilion Takes a Loss

North Vermilion suffered their closest loss since May 1, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the Sulphur Golden Tors by a score of 8-6. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Golden Tors: they've now lost four in a row.

North Vermilion's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Sulphur, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Vermilion will head out to take on Comeaux at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sulphur, they will take on Acadiana at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
