Baseball Game Preview: Hale Eagles vs. Rogers City Hurons

The Hale Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Rogers City Hurons at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hale has given up an average of 19.7 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Hale's offense. They came up short against Hillman on Friday, falling 22-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Rogers City started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Alpena. They fell 6-2 to the Wildcats on Saturday.

Justin Romel made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.

Hale's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Rogers City, the loss was their first at home, dropping their record down to 10-4.
