Football Recap: San Leandro's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

San Leandro and Foothill pushed the score to 30-29 the last time they played Foothill, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Pirates took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Amaree Hill and Dylan Souza. Hill rushed for 43 yards and a pair of scores while Souza gained 109 total yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, San Leandro fell to 3-1. As for Foothill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Leandro will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Berkeley at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Foothill, they will face off against Amador Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
