Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Harris County

Harris County had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Smiths Station Panthers by a score of 2-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 27, 2022, but that streak is no more.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Harris County was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11.

Kailyn Vannoy paced Harris County's offense, picking up six kills. Vannoy got some help from Sydney O'Neill and her 12 assists. Vannoy was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Harris County's victory bumped their record up to 30-11. As for Smiths Station, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Harris County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Smiths Station, they will challenge Beauregard at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
