Soccer Recap: Louisa County Takes a Loss

Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Albemarle Patriots, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 238th, while Albemarle are ranked 42nd).

Louisa County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Albemarle, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1.

Coincidentally, Louisa County and Albemarle will both be playing Goochland the next time they take the pitch. The Patriots will host the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Lions will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
