Volleyball Recap: Cheshire Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

If Cheshire was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Law on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Foran Lions on Friday. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lions 25-19 in the first set.

The 3-1 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Cheshire lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-23, 25-22, 26-24.

Maeve Zbikowski paced Cheshire's offense, picking up 18 kills. Zbikowski got some help from Lauren Kilpatrick and her 24 assists. Finally, Marissa Mudry kept Cheshire's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Cheshire's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Foran, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1.
