Volleyball Recap: Woburn Memorial Falls Despite Big Games from Alina Ayanian and Lauren Snyder

Woburn Memorial lost against Reading Memorial back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tanners lost 3-0 to the Rockets.

While Woburn Memorial was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-16.

Woburn Memorial's loss came despite strong showings from Lauren Snyder and Alina Ayanian. Snyder had 17 assists and ten digs, while Ayanian had 11 digs. Snyder has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Woburn Memorial dropped their record down to 10-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Reading Memorial, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Woburn Memorial nor Reading Memorial have any future games scheduled.
