Thunderbird entered their tilt with Peoria on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.

Thunderbird was led to victory by Ema-Lee Burke and Greer Annibale. Burke had 20 digs, while Annibale had three digs and three aces. Burke has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Thunderbird was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in eight consecutive contests.

Thunderbird's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Peoria, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 5-14.

Thunderbird didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Scottsdale Preparatory Academy on the 17th. As for Peoria, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Copper Canyon on the 17th.
