Waupaca waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Valley Christian Warriors. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

Waupaca found their leader in sophomore Sage Soto, who had nine digs and three assists. Ava Widdel also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Waupaca now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Valley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Waupaca has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Freedom on the 13th. As for Valley Christian, they will square off against Wayland Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors are facing the Big Red at the right time seeing as the Big Red are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
