Volleyball Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows lost against Streamwood back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabres. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14.

Inti Zapata paced Rolling Meadows' offense, picking up eight kills. Zapata got some help from Logan Quadros and his 13 assists.

Rolling Meadows' loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Streamwood, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Rolling Meadows will welcome Maine West at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Streamwood, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wheeling at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
