With a playoff game on the line, Overton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Evadale Rebels 68-0. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won seven matches by 24 points or more so far this season.
Bryce Still was his usual excellent self, throwing for 266 yards and five touchdowns on only 15 passes, while also rushing for 69 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 66 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jayden Edwards was Still's top target, picking up 175 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Overton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Jacob Osburn led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.
