Basketball Recap: Durham Flight HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Durham Flight HomeSchool's game on Tuesday was all tied up 28-28 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They received a blow as they fell 65-49 to the South Wake Sabres. The Flight haven't had much luck with the Sabres recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South Wake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Wright, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 16 points and five assists. Thomas Williams was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Durham Flight HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for South Wake, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-8 record this season.

Durham Flight HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Wake, they will face off against Chatham HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Chatham HomeSchool sitting on three straight wins and South Wake on eight.
