Basketball Recap: Oakland Piles Up the Points Against Gold Beach

Oakland won the last time they faced Gold Beach and things went their way on Friday too. The Oakland Oakers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Gold Beach Panthers 53-16. The Oakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 22 points or more this season.

Oakland pushed their record up to 10-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.3 points per game. As for Gold Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
