Volleyball Recap: Potosi Beats Fredericktown for Their Fifth Straight Win

Potosi waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Fredericktown Black Cats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17.

Potosi was led to victory by Macyn McCarthy and Adalynn Gibson. McCarthy had ten digs and five aces, while Gibson had 15 assists and five digs. Gibson is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Kaydence Eden also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Potosi's victory bumped their record up to 24-4-2. As for Fredericktown, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-15.

As of now, neither Potosi nor the Black Cats have any future games scheduled.
