Volleyball Game Preview: Richardton-Taylor Raiders vs. McIntosh Tigers

The Richardton-Taylor Raiders will face off against the McIntosh Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Richardton-Taylor managed to slip by Mott-Regent the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders came up short against the Wildfire on Thursday, falling 3-0. Raiders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildfire since Thursday.

Meanwhile, McIntosh hadn't done well against Timber Lake recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 13th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was McIntosh who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-16, 20-25, 28-26.

Richardton-Taylor has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for McIntosh, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
