Softball Game Preview: Fabens Wildcats vs. Mountain View Lobos

Fabens is 2-8 against Mountain View since February of 2024 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Lobos at 6:00 p.m. Fabens has given up an average of 17.9 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fabens came up short against San Elizario on Monday, falling 24-8.

Clint hit Mountain View with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lobos lost 14-4 to the Lions.

Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Fabens, their loss dropped their record down to 6-20.

Fabens suffered a grim 22-6 defeat to Mountain View when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
