Baseball Recap: Manzanola Takes a Loss

Manzanola came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Granada, falling 15-5. Manzanola was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Granada earlier this season, when they won 7-5.

Danner Carroll was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Manzanola's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Granada, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Manzanola has already played their next contest, a 19-2 defeat against Springfield on the 15th. As for Granada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 9-1 loss against Holly on the 15th.
