Baseball Recap: Jumpertown Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Jumpertown and Strayhorn squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Jumpertown had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 17-4. The Cardinals' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Jumpertown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden McCuller, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was McCuller's first of the season. Reece Johnson was another, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Jumpertown's loss dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Strayhorn, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-14.

As of now, neither Jumpertown nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
