Meanwhile, Afton entered their tilt with Oklahoma Union on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 49-26 win. The contest marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.

Afton has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.0 points per game. As for Welch, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
