Soccer Recap: Boerne-Champion Comes Up Short

Boerne-Champion lost against Pieper back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Boerne-Champion Chargers came up short against the Pieper Warriors, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Warriors are ranked 53rd).

Boerne-Champion has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9-2 record this season. Pieper pushed their record up to 15-3-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Boerne-Champion didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against New Braunfels on the 7th. As for Pieper, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Alamo Heights on the 7th.
