Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Segerstrom

The Kennedy Fighting Irish will venture away from home to face off against the Segerstrom Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Kennedy narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Ocean View 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fighting Irish.

Osmar Fletes and Owen Santizo scored both of Kennedy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 13 goals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Segerstrom duked it out withWestminster on Wednesday. Segerstrom and Westminster finished up their match with a 1-1 draw.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. With that draw, Segerstrom's record moves to 3-9-5.
