Softball Recap: White Hall Takes a Loss

White Hall has relied on a stalwart pitcher averaging 3.42 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They lost 13-0 to the Monticello Billies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

White Hall's loss dropped their record down to 20-10-1. As for Monticello, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

White Hall will challenge Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Yellowjackets have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season. As for Monticello, they will be playing at home against North Little Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
