Baseball Recap: Holly Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Holly's offense. They came up short against the Flushing Raiders on Wednesday, falling 7-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Bronchos in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Holly now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Flushing, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holly will square off against Swartz Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Dragons will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bronchos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Flushing, they will face off against Notre Dame Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last five games the Fighting Irish have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
