Football Game Recap: Hempstead vs. Jefferson

Things haven't been easy for Jefferson, and their match on Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were dealt a punishing 0-35 loss at the hands of Hempstead. The state rankings had actually given Jefferson a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Jefferson will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Dubuque Senior. Jefferson have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Dubuque Senior are surely hoping to exploit. As for Hempstead, they will face off against Waterloo West. Waterloo West are limping into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
