On Saturday, Mariner had to suffer through a rough 87-55 loss at the hands of Richmond Heights.
Meanwhile, Green Tech scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Poughkeepsie, posting a 81-53 win at home. Green Tech might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by 20 points or more this season.
Green Tech can attribute much of their success to Haisi Mayben, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten assists, and U'Mier Graham, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Mayben's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Ramere Brown was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Mariner's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Green Tech, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.
