Football Recap: Glendale Comes Up Short on the Road Against Windber + How To Watch

Glendale kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost to the Windber Ramblers on the road by a 38-20 margin. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Ramblers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Although Glendale took the loss, they still got scores from Gage Myers, Mason Brink, and Cameron Dreibelbis.

Windber's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ace Kolson led the charge by throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Nokosi Fowler-Whetstone helped Kolson out on the ground, rushing for 106 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glendale will take on Meyersdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Windber, they will face off against Curwensville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
