Eastern Hancock is 8-2 against Shenandoah since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Royals will look to defend their home field against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Eastern Hancock and Frankton, and Frankton kept the tradition alive. The Royals fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-4 on Wednesday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Shenandoah and Lapel meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Raiders came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-1. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Shenandoah saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Sprunger, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Eastern Hancock's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-6. As for Shenandoah, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
