Basketball Recap: Millry Takes a Loss

Millry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Fruitdale Pirates, falling 58-17. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Pirates from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Fruitdale, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Millry has already played their next matchup, a 70-19 loss against Southern Choctaw on the 14th. As for Fruitdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 48-30 defeat against Leroy on the 10th.
